Qualifications

• 3-5 years of project support or coordination experience in consulting, engineering, environmental, or mining settings.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Geoscience, or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Working knowledge of project management fundamentals including scope, schedule, budget, and risk management.
• Experience with project financials, schedules, and technical deliverables in a professional services context.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with project management systems is a plus.
• Background in mining, environmental, or regulatory projects is advantageous.
• Proficiency with Oracle for financial tracking is a plus.
• PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of multidisciplinary mining and environmental projects, ensuring commitments are met on scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
• Coordinate project teams and defined workstreams to facilitate effective collaboration.
• Contribute to project financial performance by assisting with budgeting, cost tracking, forecasting, and invoicing processes.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships by acting as a primary point of contact and providing updates.
• Promote health, safety, and quality cultures in alignment with WSP's management system and project standards.
• Collaborate with experienced leaders to enhance project execution and outcomes.
• Assist in delivering projects that offer value to clients, communities, and the environment.
