The Opportunity - Build the Future with Us

Join WSP's Mining Project Management team in Toronto, Mississauga, or Vancouver and contribute to the delivery of multidisciplinary mining and environmental projects across Canada.

This opportunity is well suited for a developing Project Manager who is strengthening their delivery, financial, and client management capabilities within a structured project governance environment. You will work closely with experienced project leaders, gaining exposure to a wide range of mining and environmental projects while benefiting from mentorship, guidance, and a clear development pathway.

  • Supporting the delivery of multidisciplinary mining and environmental projects while helping ensure scope, schedule, budget, and quality commitments are achieved.
  • Coordinating project teams and defined workstreams to enable effective collaboration across technical disciplines.

The Skills That Set You Apart

You bring:
  • 3-5 years of experience supporting or coordinating projects within consulting, engineering, environmental, or mining-related environments.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Geoscience, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • A working knowledge of project management fundamentals, including scope, schedule, budget, and risk management.
  • Experience supporting project financials, schedules, and technical deliverables within a professional services environment.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office; exposure to project management systems is an asset.
  • Experience in mining, environmental, or regulatory projects is considered an advantage.
  • Experience using Oracle for financial tracking is an asset.
  • PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is an asset.
Compensation

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $89,800 - $118,900
MB & ON: $81,900 - $112,800
NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $81,100 - $107,700
