Full Job Description
Firebird AST is accepting applications for an onsite TS/SCI cleared Exercise Mobility Analyst to provide operational logistics and transportation planning expertise in support of joint deployment and distribution operations across the CENTCOM Area of Responsibility (AOR).

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee a team responsible for managing USCENTCOM intra-theater JOPES and Intra-Theater Airlift Request System (ITARS) airlift movement records, validating requirements in alignment with CENTCOM priorities, and resolving operational issues encountered by users throughout the AOR.
  • Validate USCENTCOM intra-theater JOPES and ITARS airlift movement records to ensure compliance with established priorities and operational timelines, while facilitating timely resolution of challenges experienced by service validators across the theater.
  • Confirm that all validated movement requirements are fully documented in accordance with TPFDD Letter of Instruction, Foreign Clearance Guide (FCG), Air Force Instruction (AFI) 24-604, and all applicable AOR-specific guidance and directives.
  • Manage and distribute the Single Ticket Tracker (STT) in accordance with USCENTCOM policies and guidance, ensuring timely and accurate dissemination across appropriate channels.
  • Monitor relevant message newsgroups daily to identify, action, and process exercise-related requirements and messages within established timelines, ensuring all validated records are submitted to the AFCENT AMD for further coordination and execution.
  • Identify systemic issues, recurring errors, and negative trends within the intra-theater validation process; recommend and implement corrective actions; and update local tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) for incorporation into USCENTCOM-wide guidance.
  • Coordinate regularly with component command and Joint Task Force (JTF) validators to confirm they are appropriately trained and managing movement records in accordance with current USCENTCOM validation guidance and standards.
  • Conduct formal training for service validators operating in support of the CENTCOM AOR, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and tools required to effectively validate and manage airlift movement records in compliance with joint operational procedures.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Active TS/SCI clearance.
  • Proficient in the use of the Joint Operations Planning and Execution System (JOPES), including manipulation and interpretation of Time-Phased Force Deployment Data (TPFDD), to support operational planning and execution functions.
  • In the last five years, must have experience with the Intra-Theater Airlift Request System (ITARS); Joint Planning and Execution System (JOPES) (or the program or record system); Global Air Transportation Execution System (GATES); Single Mobility System (SMS); and Consolidated Air Mobility Planning System (CAMPS).
  • IAT Level I Professional Certification
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office tools; brief materials in formats including Microsoft Office tools (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Work independently with minimal oversight; provide thorough and completed products.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.

EDUCATION
• Bachelor's Degree in any related field.

CLEARANCE
• Active DoW TS/SCI.
