Description

The Executive Vice President of Sales is responsible for developing strategic sales plans based on company goals that will promote sales growth and customer satisfaction for the organization. This role establishes and develops long-range strategic plans and integrates overall strategies to expand the customer base as well as provide additional services to existing clients and to increase the Company's overall revenue. The EVP of Sales leads and manages a sales team to ensure sales objectives are met. (This is meant to be a guide. Duties may vary dependent upon management.)

Essential Position Functions:
  • Develop multi-year sales plan to support overall organization strategies and objectives.
  • Plan and set the sales strategy for the organization in partnership with Executive Team.
  • Direct implementation and execution of sales policies and practices.
  • Ensure all sales goals and objectives are met.
  • Analyze alternate strategies and potential opportunities including new markets, new service offerings, and partnerships.
  • Recommend sales strategies for improvement based on market research and competitive analyses.
  • Build, develop and manage a sales team capable of meeting organizational goals.
  • Provide strategic direction and training to ensure sales professionals meet performance objectives and have career growth opportunities.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction with our service delivery and support.
  • Develop and manage strategic partnerships.
  • Manage channel selling strategies.
  • Lead & participate in presentations, negotiations, and sales meetings with key external & internal stakeholders.
  • Spearhead business development and marketing initiatives that are consistent with the overall strategy.
  • Identify potential opportunities and develop the tactics and teams needed to bring them to fruition.
  • Manage multiple business initiatives from start to finish.
  • Ensure internal and external communications are coordinated with appropriate internal stakeholders.
  • Develop and manage organizational budget.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Education and/or Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 10+ years of results driven sales experience in the telecommunications industry required.
  • 3+ years of experience of strategic sales experience required.
  • A combination of education and experience may be substituted for the Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience utilizing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems required.
  • Successful track record in sales-driven environments and superior leadership skills required.
  • Proven negotiation and analytical skills with professional business acumen.
  • Ability to work independently - set schedule, meet with customers/operations to ensure overall satisfaction.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build rapport with customers.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in written formats.
  • Ability to give direction, adapt to change, establish relationships, and work in a team environment.
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
