Executive Operations team supports senior technical leadership, including the Office of the Chief of Staff and the Chief Nuclear Officer / Chief Technology Officer. The team focuses on technical analysis, strategic research, program coordination, and executive decision support in a fast-moving advanced nuclear environment.
The Role The Executive Technical Analyst serves as a trusted partner to the Chief Nuclear Officer / Chief Technology Officer, providing a unique combination of technical analysis, strategic research, project coordination, and executive support. The primary objective is to maximize the effectiveness of the CNO/CTO by ensuring that the right information, analysis, people, and priorities are brought together at the right time to enable high-quality technical and strategic decisions. This is a high-impact analytical position for someone with strong intellectual curiosity, excellent judgment, and exceptional organizational skills who thrives in complex, fast-moving environments.
Key Responsibilities - Research engineering, regulatory, commercial, and strategic topics.
- Analyze technical reports and distill key findings into concise executive briefings.
- Prepare technical memoranda, white papers, and decision-support material.
- Support reviews of reactor design, licensing, safety, and engineering documentation.
- Identify emerging technical risks, issues, and opportunities.
- Coordinate meetings with engineering teams, customers, regulators, investors, and partners.
- Draft executive correspondence and presentations.
- Coordinate work across engineering, licensing, operations, manufacturing, and external partners.
- Monitor schedules, milestones, and executive commitments.
- Identify blockers and drive resolution.
- Support major reviews, design milestones, regulatory engagements, and strategic initiatives.
- Conduct market, technology, and competitor research.
- Benchmark emerging technologies and industry trends.
- Support strategic partnerships and business development.
- Lead special projects on behalf of the CNO/CTO.
- Develop executive dashboards and performance metrics.
- Organize technical knowledge and executive information.
- Maintain decision logs, action registers, and briefing material.
- Develop documentation standards and executive workflows.
- Improve systems that increase organizational effectiveness.
Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Business, Economics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
- 3-8 years of experience in management consulting, engineering, technical project management, strategy, or a similarly analytical role.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and structured problem-solving ability.
- Outstanding organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities.
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment.
Preferred Skills and Experience - Experience in management or engineering consulting.
- Nuclear, aerospace, energy, manufacturing, or advanced technology experience.
- Experience working with executive leadership.
- Familiarity with engineering documentation, project controls, or regulatory environments.
- Experience using AI tools to accelerate research, analysis, and productivity.

$110,000-$150,000 USD
