Working Location: California, Los Angeles Workplace Flexibility: FieldJob DescriptionThe position is responsible for managing and building the service contract business for OAIs Medical Systems Group. The incumbent will possess a deep understanding of the role of Enterprise Solutions Group and IDN/ GPO structure within the healthcare industry and effective ways of navigating both internal and external customers organizational structures. They must also have a strong understanding of the financial structure of complex service contracts. Responsibilities will include managing protecting and growing overall size and profitability of the service contract portfolio developing new strategic contracts with IDNs and key accounts and ensuring contract offerings are consistent across the Olympus markets and meet the needs of the customer. The incumbent will also be responsible for managing the service contract sales channel within their assigned pillars to protect and grow the service business.
Job Duties- Maintain service contract renewal rates within assigned regions and customer accounts.
- Support Field Sales, corporate accounts, and Inside Sales teams with service contract activities as needed to drive growth.
- Drive growth of service contract revenue and achieve assigned service sales targets.
- Develop and maintain regular communication with assigned Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs), Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs), and key customer stakeholders to strengthen customer relationships and enhance communication channels.
- Build and maintain a comprehensive understanding of each assigned IDN, GPO, and key account to align Medical Service resources and deliver value-based customer solutions that support both customer and organizational objectives.
- Conduct routine business reviews with customer executives and key stakeholders to review service performance, contract utilization, business strategies, and growth opportunities.
- Coordinate and support the transition of identified opportunities to local sales and service teams when growth opportunities exist within a specific service category.
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, Legal, Finance, and other cross-functional teams to support service contract negotiations, renewals, and implementations.
- Coordinate service contract launch activities with local sales, service, clinical, and technical teams to ensure successful implementation and customer adoption.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with IDN, GPO, and key account personnel to support service contract development, implementation, and long-term customer satisfaction.
- Conduct Service Business Reviews with assigned customers and stakeholders.
- Serve as a subject matter resource for field sales, customer service, and internal stakeholders regarding service contracts, programs, customer issues, and growth opportunities.
- Develop and implement training and education strategies that support Medical Service growth objectives.
- Ensure service contract offerings remain current, accurate, and aligned with business objectives.
- Drive execution of service contract addendums, amendments, and contractual obligations within assigned business segments.
- Serve as a liaison between customers and internal Medical Service, Planning, and Operations teams.
- Ensure assigned service sales goals, revenue targets, and performance objectives are achieved.
- Partner with Service Field personnel to ensure Service Business Reviews are completed and contract compliance requirements are met.
- Collaborate with Planning and Operations teams to develop and deliver customer-facing reports, analytics, and business insights.
- Monitor customer performance metrics, identify service improvement opportunities, and recommend solutions that enhance customer outcomes and satisfaction.
- Support strategic initiatives designed to improve service contract penetration, customer retention, and overall Medical Service business performance.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Job QualificationsRequired:- Bachelor's degree in business, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related field required. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in medical device sales, service sales, healthcare contracting, field service management, or related commercial healthcare experience.
- Demonstrated experience negotiating and managing complex service agreements and customer contracts.
- Experience working with Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs), Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs), Key Accounts, and large healthcare systems.
- Proven track record of driving service revenue growth and achieving sales or business performance objectives.
- Experience conducting executive-level business reviews and presenting to senior customer stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate across Sales, Service, Operations, Finance, Marketing, and Legal functions.
- Experience developing and implementing customer-focused business strategies and value-based solutions.
- Strong contract negotiation and account management skills.
- Strong consultative selling and solution-selling capabilities.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and build relationships at all levels of customer organizations.
- Strong business, financial, and analytical acumen.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational, planning, and project management skills.
- High degree of initiative, self-motivation, and independent decision-making ability.
- Ability to travel up to 75% domestically.
- Valid driver's license and ability to operate a motor vehicle.
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed to support customer and business requirements.

Total compensation: $100,00,00 base salary per year + eligibility for a performance-based commission plan, which includes certain non-discretionary incentives based on predetermined objectives. Commission earnings are not guaranteed and are determined by individual sales performance in accordance with the terms of the Sales Incentive Compensation Plan.
