Job Description SummaryAs the Schenectady Plant Leader, you will drive safe, high-quality, efficient operations at Onshore Wind's manufacturing factory located in Schenectady, NY. This Plant Leader plays a key role in the U.S. and global supply chain as the factory delivers key turbine components for our industry-leading Onshore Wind business. As the Plant Leader, you will lead a multi-faceted team, build site safety culture, deliver quality products, lead with LEAN, and drive operation results aligned to customer deliverables.
Job DescriptionEssential Responsibilities- Establish and lead attainment of plant goals related to Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost (SQDC)
- Drive operating mechanisms and culture to ensure behaviors consistent with compliance, quality system and EHS requirements
- Work with customers and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver with quality to our customers and meet business commitments
- Collaborate across all functions including engineering, sourcing, and projects to achieve SQDC deliverables
- Provide strategic leadership and a vision across the site related to investments, workforce planning, technology, and all aspects of the plant
- Collaborate across the manufacturing plant network to benchmark best practices and drive standard work/processes across similar manufacturing processes
- Ensure alignment with the overall business S&OP and deliver on financial commitments.
- Drive continuous improvement through implementation of Lean principles and culture
- Shape and build a strong culture focused on safety, quality, delivering on commitments, and continuous improvement while enabling and supporting high employee engagement
- Champion talent development across the team. Develop, coach, mentor, and guide team members to successful outcomes
Qualifications/Requirements- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related technical discipline
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant Manufacturing & Supply Chain experience
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant people leadership/managerial experience

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $192,000 and $264,000. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
