Full Job Description
SUMMARY: The Executive Director will lead the overall administration of the community within the authority of all applicable local, state, and federal regulations, while ensuring a holistic, compassionate, safe and secure environment for all residents while maintaining a profitable operation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Works in collaboration with all departmental team members to coordinate every aspect of resident care.
• Responsible for the overall care, well-being and safety of residents and the facility.
• Directs, coordinates and evaluates department leaders, including but not limited to the activities of life enrichment program planning and implementation, culinary operations, maintenance of the community, marketing efforts, and nursing and wellness care services.
• Addresses all issues and/or concerns of resident's family members and ensures prompt resolutions for overall family satisfaction. Regularly visits and interacts with residents to ensure their needs are met.
• Promote and maintain high staff morale and fosters a safe, supportive and collaborative work environment.
• Ensures that the Wellness director maintains accurate resident charts, all state required documentation and is prepared for state survey and health inspections at all times.
• Ensures Plan of Correction is properly completed, corrected, and returned in a timely manner and within identified timeframe.
• Completes all incident report investigations and report's findings according to state regulations and company policies.
• Monitors and communicates landscaping, property maintenance, capital improvement, and kitchen needs in collaboration with the maintenance director on an on-going basis.
• Coordinates with the marketing department to insure an efficient move-in process for all new residents.
• Attends networking events and provides facility tours to support community and brand marketing.
• Develops, monitors, and participates in the Manager on Duty (MOD) call rotation.
• Maintains continued education requirements for all staff (including self), as required by professional licensures and state regulations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

MANAGERIAL & BUDGETARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provides direction to the HR organization and other department leaders regarding hiring, scheduling, and training of personnel and ensures managers are familiar with and adhere to state regulatory standards; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints, and resolving problems.
• Budgetary responsibilities include reviewing financial and budget transactions, assisting with budget development, and budgetary control.
• Responsible for overall P&L management, including revenue attainment, expense control and achieving companies profit objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
• A passion for working with senior adults
• 3 or more years' previous leadership experience in the senior housing industry (AL, MC, SNF or LTC)
• Strong leadership skills and experience leading large teams with multiple departments
• Experience overseeing the financial success of multiple departments, including developing, interpreting and reporting on periodic financial reporting
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Advanced computer and Microsoft Office experience with ability to create reports and analyze operational data
• Ability to independently solve complex operational and interpersonal situations
• Must be available after regular working hours and work weekends and holidays as necessary
• Must possess a current OK RCAL administrators license.
