Summary

The Executive Director, Insights and Analytics (ED I&A) is a strategic enterprise leader responsible for building, scaling, and leading Tango Therapeutics' Insights and Analytics center of excellence. As Tango transitions from a research-stage biotech into a fully integrated commercial organization, this executive will define the enterprise-wide data, analytics, and insights strategy to support the successful launch and lifecycle management of our precision synthetic lethality oral medicines.

Reporting directly to the Chief Commercialization Officer (CCO), the ED of I&A will serve as a critical member of the Commercial Leadership Team and cross-functional strategy teams. This leader will act as an indispensable thought partner to executive leadership, translating complex data ecosystems into actionable insights that influence enterprise direction, optimize performance, and drive data-driven decision-making across Sales, Marketing, Market Access, Medical Affairs, and Finance. The ED of I&A is responsible for building and mentoring a high-performing leadership team encompassing critical functions across Market Research, Forecasting, and a Data & Advanced Analytics Center of Excellence (COE).

Your Role:

Cross-Functional Leadership & Strategic Integration
  • Serve as a core member of cross-functional teams, acting as the strategic anchor for market analysis, competitive landscape evaluation, and commercial insights
  • Partner closely with Medical Affairs, Market Access, Finance, Marketing, and Clinical Development to align on evidence needs, performance KPIs, and overarching corporate strategies
  • Synthesize complex data into a clear overview of commercial strategy, opportunities, and risks for the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and Board of Directors

Market Research & Competitive Intelligence
  • Direct the Market Research function to build a best-in-class capability that generates deep insights from healthcare professionals (HCPs), patients, and payers to shape brand strategy and product positioning
  • Establish a proactive competitive intelligence capability to continuously track the competitive landscape, clinical developments, reimbursement trends, and disruptive innovations within the oncology space

Forecasting & Demand Planning
  • Provide strategic oversight in the development of robust global forecasting models for marketed products and pipeline assets
  • Lead scenario planning, demand models, sensitivity analyses, and pipeline handover strategies to inform long-range planning, investment allocation, and launch readiness efforts

Data Strategy & Advanced Analytics (COE)
  • Lead the Data & Advanced Analytics COE in developing the enterprise data strategy (acquisition, integration, governance, and quality), and driving the adoption of predictive modeling and AI-enabled decision-making
  • Oversee the evaluation, procurement, and integration of commercial oncology data assets, including specialty pharmacy, claims, EHR, payer, and real-world evidence (RWE) sources
  • Stand-up performance analytics and executive dashboarding capabilities, transitioning the organization from static reporting to dynamic, predictive, and action-oriented intelligence

Education & Experience

  • Proven leadership track record of building, scaling, and developing high-performing analytics and insights organizations from the ground up
