1. Advises appropriate managing staff of short- and long-term changes necessary to keep facilities in physical compliance with regulatory demands.

2. Maintains documentation in proper order for state and local regulatory inspections.

3. Develops and maintains facilities' annual operating budgets.

4. Advances and enforces operational procedures and best practices, ensuring staff compliance.

5. Oversees facility lease negotiations, and the payment of utilities and rent.

6. Ensures all work areas meet quality, safety, and compliance standards.

7. Ensures internal control oversight and compliance with laws and regulations, safeguarding of assets, compliance with University policies and procedures, reliability of internal and external reporting, and efficiency and effectiveness of operations. Creates an effective control environment, conducts risk assessment, implements and monitors controls.
