Job Summary: Core Responsibilities: The Executive Director, Credit Portfolio Management, will be responsible for the overall asset management of a portfolio of commercial real estate loans/investments, including complex and/or high touch loans/investments, with little need for detailed supervision.
Responsibilities: - Provide executive oversight and strategic direction in addressing high-level customer requests and complex internal inquiries, ensuring service excellence and timely issue resolution across the organization.
- Lead compliance initiatives for complex loan documents, including the enforcement of covenants and implementation of remedial actions for non-compliance, safeguarding both organizational and investor interests.
- Oversee the evaluation and approval of borrower consent requests, collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with transaction and portfolio objectives.
- Direct the comprehensive review, analysis, and executive reporting of property performance, delivering actionable insights to senior management and investment committees.
- Guide and oversee property condition inspections and compliance audits, ensuring thorough assessment, risk mitigation, and regulatory adherence throughout the portfolio.
- Identify critical issues and assess investor risk at both the asset and portfolio level, providing sophisticated analysis and recommendations for risk management strategies.
- Cultivate and manage high-level relationships with borrowers, special servicers, certificate administrators, and other key internal and external stakeholders to support business objectives and drive results.
- Provide expert interpretation and guidance on a wide range of complex loan and securitization documents, ensuring strategic alignment and risk mitigation.
- Demonstrate mastery of all aspects of complex real estate transactions, including loan and investment structures, entity and partnership arrangements, property operations, and evolving market dynamics.
- Champion the professional development of Senior Directors and emerging leaders through mentorship, knowledge sharing, and by fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 11+ years of experience in Portfolio Management, or equivalent experience demonstrated through work experience, training, military service, or education.
- 7+ years management experience through direct or indirect structures
- Experience in reviewing and analyzing commercial real estate loan documents and deal documents
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex loan documents and identify critical triggers.
