What you'll do day-to-day
Advise business partners on the commercial and legal aspects of compensation and benefits.
Draft, negotiate, and analyze compensation (cash and equity) and employee benefits plans and agreements.
Have the opportunity to research and analyze legal issues in other areas of the firm's existing businesses and potential new activities.
What we're looking for
A law degree and at least four years of experience in compensation and benefits at a law firm and/or in-house, including meaningful experience drafting complex executive compensation arrangements for investment management firms or other financial services businesses.
Demonstrated record of academic achievement; excellent analytical abilities; sound judgment; keen attention to detail; and proven drafting, communication, and organizational skills.
Familiarity with employee benefits law (including ERISA and the Affordable Care Act) is preferred, given this role will involve meaningful day-to-day engagement with benefits matters.
The expected annual base salary for this position is $250,000 to $275,000. Our compensation and benefits package includes variable compensation in the form of a year-end bonus, guaranteed in the first year of hire, and benefits including medical and prescription drug coverage, 401(k) contribution matching, wellness reimbursement, family building benefits, and a charitable gift match program.
