Executive Assistant to the Founder & CEO
Confidential Search • Manhattan, NY • Full-Time • Occasional NY-LA travel
• Some calendars are just schedules. Hers is a strategy.

We're partnering confidentially with a Founder and CEO who runs several businesses, ventures, and initiatives at once. On a given week she might meet with investors, then researchers, then the media, and then catch a flight to LA. Every hour she spends needs to count, and we're searching for the person who makes sure it does.

This isn't a "book the meetings and order the lunch" job. You'll be her right hand, the one who sees the conflict three weeks out, walks into every meeting knowing what she'll need, and quietly makes sure no promise she's made goes unkept. When it goes well, nobody notices the work behind it. They just notice that everything runs smoothly. That's the craft, and she's looking for someone who takes pride in it.

What your days will actually look like

You'll own her time. You'll manage a complex, many-sided calendar across businesses, projects, and personal commitments. You'll weigh competing requests, protect her focus, and rework the plan when priorities shift, which they will.

You'll get her ready for every room she walks into. You'll prepare agendas, background, talking points, and materials for meetings with executives, investors, partners, researchers, media, and the occasional celebrity. Afterward, you'll make sure the follow-ups actually happen.

You'll make travel effortless. You'll handle flights, hotels, cars, dining, and detailed itineraries for domestic and international trips. When plans change at the last minute, you'll be the calm one in the room.

You'll be her voice when she needs one. You'll triage her inbox, draft correspondence on her behalf, track introductions and commitments, and be the warm, trusted link between her and everyone she works with.

You'll build the system, not just run it. You'll design how the Founder Office works, with smarter processes, cleaner organization, and real use of AI and modern tools to remove friction. If you've ever thought "there's a better way to do this," you'll get to build it here.

You might be the right person if...
• You have 5+ years supporting a founder, CEO, or senior executive, and you've done it in a fast-moving, founder-led company where "the plan" is a living document.
• You naturally think three steps ahead. You've usually handled the request before it's even made.
• People trust you with sensitive information because you've earned that trust, and you keep it.
• Pressure makes you sharper, not louder.
• You write well, speak well, and know when a moment calls for polish and when it calls for warmth.
• You're comfortable around high-powered people and don't get starstruck. You stay steady.
• You're fluent in Microsoft Office, Outlook, travel platforms, and project management tools, and you're curious, not nervous, about AI.
• You have a low ego and high ownership. You care more about getting it done than about getting the credit.
• You honestly enjoy bringing order to chaos. It's satisfying to you, not draining.

Why this role is worth it
You'll work closely with a driven founder across multiple ventures, so you'll get a front-row view of how ambitious things get built. You'll have real trust, real responsibility, and real influence over how the office runs. This is a role for someone who wants to be essential, not just busy.
