This role is located in the Detroit, Michigan area and will be on site hybrid in Warren, Michigan. Candidates will not be considered outside of this area unless they will relocate. Job Introduction: Owns the day-to-day client relationship and successful execution of a high-value OEM account. This role is the client's primary point of contact and the internal hub of coordination across a program with a significant number of concurrent workstreams and stakeholders. Success depends on two things above all: building genuine trust with the client and staying rigorously organized so nothing across the account is ever dropped. Key Roles and Responsibilities • Serves as the client's primary point of contact, building a trusted, responsive relationship and representing the client's needs internally. • Tracks all active workstreams, deliverables, owners, and deadlines across the account, and keeps a clear, current system of record so nothing falls through the cracks. • Proactively identifies scheduling conflicts, dependencies, and at-risk items across the account's many moving parts, and resolves or escalates them before they affect the client. • Coordinates across internal teams (product, engineering, support, operations) to keep work moving and ensure the client gets timely, accurate updates. • Plans and runs regular status meetings and check-ins, and prepares clear agendas, notes, and follow-up trackers for each. • Monitors overall account health and client satisfaction, surfacing concerns early and following through until they're resolved. • Maintains organized documentation of decisions, commitments, and open action items so the account's history and status are always easy to reference. Basic Qualifications • 5+ years of experience in account management, client services, or program/project coordination. • Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent practical experience. • Demonstrated ability to manage a high volume of concurrent tasks, deadlines, and stakeholders without losing track of details. • Strong relationship-building, communication, and client-facing skills. • Comfortable coordinating across multiple internal teams to get things done. • Working knowledge of project-tracking tools (e.g., trackers, shared task boards, status dashboards). Perks & Benefits • Competitive compensation and generous stock options • 100% employer-paid top-of-the-line medical, dental and vision coverage • Great benefits including unlimited PTO, parental leave and free snacks and beverages • The opportunity to work with some of the brightest minds from Silicon Valley's most dominant and successful companies • Be part of an early stage, hyper-growth start-up with the opportunity to grow and prosper • Work on the latest and coolest technologies - everything is home-grown and built ground-up • A dynamic work environment with a strong sense of community and collaboration • The open and transparent culture that encourages innovation, rewards performance and discourages hierarchy • Exciting opportunities for career growth and development Current Tekion Employees: Please apply via the Internal Job Board in Ashby
