This role will allow you the opportunity to directly shape the perceptions and paths Microsoft's top accounts will take in their AI Transformation in the years to come through delivery of hundreds of engagements with customers from around the world.

Come join the Worldwide Customer Engagement Team (CET) - our team leads highly-visible, high-impact programs to engage customers and partners. We have an opening for an Envisioning Specialist to be a part of this mission. This position is based in Redmond, WA at Microsoft's Experience Center One, and requires on-site presence due to the hands-on nature of briefing delivery (with some flexibility for remote work as needed). Travel requirements are typically low (approximately 0-10%), but occasional travel may occur for off-site events or coordination with other Experience Centers.

Responsibilities

Customer Engagement & Experience Delivery
  • Deliver high-impact customer demos and immersive experiences as part of executive briefings and strategic customer engagements, ensuring alignment to program objectives and business outcomes.

Business Storytelling & Customer Value

  • Translate customer business priorities, industry trends, and Frontier Transformation objectives into compelling demo narratives and storytelling experiences that demonstrate business value.

Cross-Functional Program Execution
  • Partner with account teams, engagement teams, and immersive experience teams to plan, coordinate, and execute customer engagements from preparation through follow-up, ensuring seamless delivery and stakeholder alignment.

Content Development & Readiness
  • Develop and maintain scalable program assets, including reusable demo content, storytelling frameworks, FAQs, training materials, and readiness resources to improve consistency and effectiveness across engagements.

Measurement & Insights
  • Define, track, and evaluate customer engagement metrics and success criteria, leveraging customer feedback and business insights to measure impact and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Stakeholder Communications
  • Communicate program status, outcomes, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders, driving alignment, adoption, and execution across customer-facing programs.

Program Optimization
  • Identify and implement process improvements, share best practices, and contribute to the evolution of customer engagement strategies, storytelling approaches, and experience delivery models.


Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field AND 2+ years experience in program management, process management, or process improvement OR equivalent experience.


Preferred

  • Bachelor's Degree or MBA in Business Administration, Communication, Marketing, Business or related field AND 5+ years' experience in enterprise sales, marketing, and/or business development, including experience engaging directly with customers and account teams OR equivalent experience
  • Experience creating scripts, key talking points, and other documentation to support demo or experience delivery.
  • Experience delivering solution and product demos to customers.
  • Must have conversational depth of subject matter expertise in AI, IT, Cloud, and Software business trends, including impact of AI transformation on Microsoft's priority industry verticals (Retail, Healthcare, Manufacturing, etc.).
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple concurrent deliverables, and to move fluidly from project work to presenting in front of customers across multiple engagements per day and week.
  • Outstanding cross-team collaboration skills, as part of a small team which will need to work closely supporting one another for mutual success.
  • A natural storyteller with exceptional communication skills and executive presence.
  • Experience presenting to large (20+ people) audiences and/or internal/external senior executives in person.
  • A L150 - L200 depth of subject matter expertise (or ability to learn and ramp quickly) in Azure (Data & AI, Apps & Infrastructure), Modern Workplace and Business Applications, from a prior sales, marketing or engineering role related to these areas.


Work Location Requirement:
  • This role is based onsite at Microsoft Experience Center One in Redmond, Washington. Regular onsite presence is required to support customer and stakeholder engagement. This position is not eligible for hybrid or remote work arrangements.


Business Program Management IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $77,800 - $153,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $102,200 - $169,900 per year.
