Exchange Traded Funds - Senior Specialist, Fund/Client Accounting

We9re seeking a future team member for the role Exchange Traded Funds - Senior Specialist, Fund/Client Accounting, to join our Fund and IS Client Ops team. This role is located in Lake Mary, FL.

In this role, you9ll make an impact in the following ways:
  • Conduct accounting services for assigned clients and moderately complex funds, including determining net asset values (NAVs), calculating fund performance, allocating expenses, and preparing reports.
  • Perform complex fund/client accounting responsibilities by driving service improvement plans, targeting efficiencies, enhancing processes, and conducting specialist review functions; provide input into methodologies and check the work of junior team members.
  • Provide guidance and review work related to cash and asset reconciliations for complex accounts or transactions; resolve reconciliations for atypical transactions and review the work of junior team members.
  • Draft client reports on the performance of complex funds, review draft reports completed by junior staff, and regularly interact with clients to answer questions and resolve issues regarding fund reports and accounting processes; assist in evaluating GAAP and/or IFRS rules to determine the impact of new regulations on BNY Mellon fund accounting practices.


To be successful in this role, we9re seeking the following:
  • Bachelor9s degree in accounting or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5-7 years of total work experience preferred.
  • Big 4 accounting firm experience preferred.
  • Experience with GAAP and/or IFRS, fund accounting processes, reconciliations, client reporting, and process improvement.

Base salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
