Responsibilities

In this role you will:
  • Provide implementation and support of Informatica Power Center, Informatica Cloud tools (IDMC), Tibco Data Virtualization, Splunk including patches and upgrades for environments
  • Set up and configuration of enterprise production, QA, development and disaster recovery environments
  • Back-up and recovery of software, repository and configurations
  • Disaster recovery planning, design, execution and documentation
  • Monitoring environments and suggesting improvements for stability and performance tuning
  • Provide technical support and work with infrastructure teams to ensure an effective operating environment including throughput, repository sizing, capacity planning and maintenance
  • Make proposals and participate in the planning of new and enhanced technologies or services within area of expertise
  • Define standards and implement best practices to manage and support all environments
  • Creation and maintenance of technical documentation, deployment diagrams and checklists
  • Automating routine tasks where appropriate
  • Develop operating system scripts, data transfers, monitoring, etc.


Qualifications

  • Knowledge of business processes for supported business groups
  • Knowledge of security methodologies, policies, standards and best practices
  • Knowledgeable of best practices in information technology governance and regulatory landscape for financial institutions
  • Significant experience in a large and complex business environment
  • Knowledge of information technology systems, infrastructure and operations
  • Working knowledge of information systems and operations systems for supported business groups
  • Must have advanced knowledge of Informatica PowerCenter on UNIX and Informatica Cloud tools (IDMC)
  • Must have moderate knowledge using UNIX (IBM AIX a plus); UNIX scripting knowledge is important
  • Office software including strong ability to analyze data using Excel for reporting and data mining purposes
  • Strong people skills including the ability to interact with employees at all levels
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to meet expected delivery dates and the tasks necessary to achieve objectives
  • Must be a self-starter with a strong attention to detail and able to manage responsibilities with minimal supervision
  • Flexible schedule including on call rotation with possibility of working long hours including weekends/holidays, occasional overtime or split shifts may be required


Education & Work Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent work or military experience preferred
  • 5-7 years of overall experience in Information Systems required


Additional Knowledge and Skills

Working effectively within an AI enabled environment:
  • Ability to use AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) to support daily work
  • Skills in evaluating AI outputs for accuracy, compliance, and bias
  • Experience integrating AI into workflows to improve efficiency or insights
  • Familiarity with AI assisted research, summarization, and content generation
  • Understanding of responsible AI use, including ethics and data protection


AI Skills Preferred:

  • Experience with AI assisted software development or automation
  • Knowledge of prompting techniques to improve output quality
  • Awareness of emerging GenAI capabilities and limitations
