Description

The Etch Service Business and Marketing Manager is responsible for the business strategy, product roadmap, commercialization and lifecycle management of service products supporting the global Etch installed base.

As a Product Management V professional, this individual serves as a recognized subject matter expert and business owner for assigned service products and growth initiatives. The role translates customer technology roadmaps, market requirements, installed-base opportunities and business insights into differentiated service solutions that improve customer productivity, uptime, yield and cost of ownership.

This individual partners across engineering, field service, sales, operations, finance and regional organizations to influence service product roadmaps, develop business cases, drive commercialization and deliver profitable growth. The role leads complex, cross-functional initiatives with broad business impact and communicates recommendations to customers, senior leaders and key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
  • Define and execute business and marketing strategies for assigned Etch service products, programs and market segments.
  • Identify market opportunities and future customer requirements through analysis of customer roadmaps, technology transitions, installed-base data, service entitlements and competitive dynamics.
  • Translate customer and market requirements into service product requirements, portfolio priorities and multiyear roadmap recommendations.
  • Lead the development of product requirements, business cases, value propositions, pricing strategies and go-to-market plans for new and existing service offerings.
  • Influence service product roadmap decisions based on customer value, strategic differentiation, business potential, financial returns and execution feasibility.
  • Manage assigned service offerings across the product lifecycle, including concept development, introduction, commercialization, growth, optimization and end-of-life planning.
  • Own business performance for assigned service products, including bookings, revenue, adoption, penetration, profitability and customer value realization.
  • Develop financial models, forecasts and investment recommendations that support annual operating plans and long-range business strategies.
  • Create customer-facing positioning and value messaging that clearly communicates productivity, availability, yield and cost-of-ownership benefits.
  • Partner with regional sales, field service and account teams to identify opportunities, enable value-based selling and accelerate customer adoption.
  • Lead strategic customer engagements, voice-of-customer activities, technical and commercial reviews, and executive-level business discussions.
  • Apply business and customer insights to solve unique and complex challenges with broad impact on service strategy and financial performance.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams to achieve commercialization milestones, customer commitments and business objectives.
  • Provide subject matter guidance to colleagues and share best practices across business units, functions and regions.
  • Communicate business performance, strategic recommendations, risks and resource requirements to senior leadership and other key stakeholders.

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing or a related field.
  • 10 to 15 years of relevant experience in semiconductor equipment, semiconductor manufacturing, product management, service marketing, business development or a related commercial function.
  • Demonstrated experience developing product strategies, roadmaps, business cases and commercialization plans.
  • Experience translating customer requirements and market insights into differentiated products, services or business opportunities.
  • Strong financial and analytical capabilities, including forecasting, pricing, profitability analysis and return-on-investment assessment.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives in a global, matrixed organization.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation and stakeholder-management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree, MBA or advanced technical degree.
  • Experience with semiconductor Etch technologies, wafer-fabrication equipment or equipment service operations.
  • Experience with managed services, performance-based services, equipment lifecycle solutions, refurbishment offerings or digital service products.
  • Experience supporting strategic semiconductor customers and leading executive-level customer engagements.
  • Experience using installed-base, service-entitlement, operational and financial data to identify and prioritize growth opportunities.

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.

For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
