Estimating and Pricing Material Functional Excellence Manager
Position Responsibilities:- Demonstrates Project management skills with an ability to focus on and finish on large scale simplification projects
- Leads the Government Estimating proposal processes for material estimating and pricing methods, tools and processes related to material costing
- Demonstrates problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Consults and manages laterally across large cross-functional teams to understand complex Estimating requirements and processes and be able to translate them to scalable, compliant, best-in-class solutions
- Provides day-to-day leadership of the Material Functional Excellence team
- Conveys complex analysis and recommendations to Directors and Vice Presidents (VPs)
- Leads the rollout of new or enhanced Estimating tools, methods, and processes in the material estimating statement of work
- Oversees the evaluation and development of complex and innovative business cases
- Manages long term data analytics strategy to support complex analyses of material estimates
- Develops database requirement strategies and leads projects to identify new sources of material estimating data and methods of integrating material estimating data
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):- Bachelor's degree or higher
- 5+ years of experience in any combination of Material Cost Analysis, Material Estimating, Finance, and/or Material Accounting
- 5+ years of experience building proposals utilizing pricing systems, material estimating and pricing tools and processes
- Experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal role
- Experience acting as a subject matter expert in the development, implementation and training of processes and tools
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): - Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in business related curriculum such as: Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Business Management, Data Analytics, Marketing, Economics or Math

Summary Pay Range: $149,600 - $202,400
