Estate Litigation Attorney - New York (2-10 Years Experience)
Offit Kurman is seeking a litigation attorney with a minimum of two years of experience to join its growing trusts and estates litigation practice in New York. In addition to litigation experience, the candidate should have a strong foundation in one or more of the following areas: trusts and estates, fiduciary litigation, guardianships, Surrogate's Court procedure, and/or elder law, especially as it relates to capacity.
The candidate will handle a diverse portfolio complex disputes in Surrogate's Court, Supreme Court, and federal court. The firm offers a collaborative environment with steady, high-quality work.
The right candidate will have experience drafting motions, conducting depositions, appearing in court, and advising clients through sensitive, often high-stakes situations. Excellent writing skills and attention to detail are essential.
Offit Kurman offers a collegial environment, sophisticated work, and a business development program to support long-term growth. New York bar admission is required. The salary range for this position is $130,000+. We may consider higher salaries for those with more experience. The role will begin fully in-office, with the opportunity to transition to a four-day in-office schedule with one remote day.
