About the Position

The ERP Upgrade Analyst combines technical expertise, project management, and problem-solving to support critical financial and budgetary systems. In this role, you will work on complex, high-impact ERP projects and help shape system and process improvements that support operations across the County. We will count on you to plan and coordinate ERP implementations and upgrades, analyze processes, conduct system testing, identify risks, and help drive projects through successful completion.

We Require
  • Three years of business systems analysis experience including experience in business systems analytics and/or managing business process improvements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field


We Also Value
  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or another closely related field
  • Four years of professional level accounting/finance experience
  • Three or more years of report writing experience
  • Proficiency with Advantage financial and Performance Budget Application, Business Objects, OnBase, SQL server, Excel, Word, Access, etc., or other enterprise resource planning systems


Job Contributions
  • Project Planning & Lifecycle Management - Develop and manage short- and long-term project plans, milestones, schedules, priorities, and activities throughout all phases of the project lifecycle
  • UAT Strategy & Leadership - Provide leadership and oversight for UAT planning, development, and execution, ensuring testing activities meet County standards, specifications, and strategic objectives
  • Project Coordination & Implementation - Coordinate and support the implementation of multiple projects ensuring activities, resources, dependencies, and deliverables remain aligned with established plans
  • Risk & Issue Management - Identify, assess, track, escalate, and manage project and testing risks, issues, and potential liabilities to minimize impacts to project objectives and timeliness.
  • Test Planning, Analysis & Quality Management - Prepare and review test plans, analyze test results and quality metrics, and ensure testing processes support the highest level of software quality.
  • End-to-End Testing Coordination - Collaborate across business units and technical teams to coordinate comprehensive end-to-end testing of ERP applications, processes, and related functionality
  • Stakeholder Management & Communication - Serve as a liaison with business, technical, and project stakeholders to communicate project status, requirements, challenges, deliverables, and testing outcomes
  • Project Governance, Scope & Documentation - Assist in defining project scope, objectives, requirements, goals, and deliverables while maintaining accurate documentation of project decisions, risks, action items, priorities, owners, and due dates. Ensure project activities and records remain aligned with established expectations and are accurately maintained in SharePoint or other project repositories.
  • Testing Standards & Continuous Improvement - Ensure testing strategies and processes align with industry best practices; stay current on testing standards and provide guidance and recommendations to leadership and project teams
  • Other Job Duties as assigned.


Working Conditions
  • Exerting up to 10 lbs. occasionally or negligible weights frequently; sitting most of the time.
  • Position is typically office or administrative work and is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
