Position Description

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales CRM Techno-Functional Architect to lead the architecture, design, and delivery of enterprise Microsoft Business Applications solutions for customers across the United States.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales (CRM) combined with strong experience across Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate, Dataverse, and Azure Integration Services.

This is a customer-facing role requiring the ability to work directly with business and IT stakeholders, understand business requirements and processes, translate them into scalable solution designs, and provide hands-on technical leadership throughout the implementation lifecycle.

The architect will work closely with customer stakeholders, business analysts, developers, integration architects, data architects, project managers, and distributed delivery teams to ensure solutions are technically sound, scalable, secure, maintainable, and aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the Techno-Functional Solution/Technical Architect for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales and Power Platform implementations and Support projects
  • Lead customer workshops to understand business processes, requirements, pain points, and future-state objectives.
  • Translate business and functional requirements into scalable Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solution designs.
  • Architect and design solutions using Dynamics 365 Sales, Microsoft Dataverse, Power Apps, Power Automate, and related Microsoft technologies.
  • Provide strong expertise in Dynamics 365 Sales capabilities, including account and contact management, lead and opportunity management, activities, pipeline management, forecasting, and related CRM processes.
  • Determine where requirements should be addressed through out-of-the-box Dynamics 365 capabilities, configuration, low-code capabilities, or custom development.
  • Define end-to-end solution architecture covering Dynamics 365, Power Platform, integrations, data, security, and external enterprise applications.
  • Design integration solutions using Azure Integration Services, including technologies such as Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Service Bus, API Management, and REST APIs, as appropriate.
  • Provide architecture and technical leadership for integrations between Dynamics 365 and enterprise platforms and external applications.
  • Define Dataverse data models, security models, business rules, automation, application architecture, and integration patterns.
  • Lead the design and development of model-driven Power Apps and other Power Platform solutions supporting CRM business processes.
  • Design workflow and automation solutions using Power Automate.
  • Provide technical direction for Dynamics 365 extensibility, including plugins, custom APIs, JavaScript/TypeScript, PCF controls, and .NET/C# components where required.
  • Establish and enforce technical architecture standards, development standards, design patterns, and engineering best practices.
  • Lead technical design reviews and ensure solutions meet performance, scalability, security, supportability, and maintainability requirements.
  • Provide technical governance and quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Define environment strategy, solution management, deployment practices, configuration management, and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) processes.
  • Support CI/CD and release management using Azure DevOps and/or GitHub.
  • Provide guidance for data migration, data integration, data quality, and master/reference data considerations related to CRM implementations.
  • Troubleshoot complex Dynamics 365, Power Platform, integration, and application issues and provide technical direction for resolution.
  • Work closely with project and program managers to identify technical dependencies, risks, issues, assumptions, and delivery impacts.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to developers and other members of the delivery team.
  • Collaborate effectively with both US-based customer teams and global/offshore delivery teams.
  • Participate in customer architecture discussions, solution demonstrations, design sessions, and executive/technical presentations.
  • Support new business opportunities by participating in solution discussions, architecture development, technical discovery, estimation, and proposal activities as needed.


Required Technical Skills and Experience
  • 10+ years of overall technology experience, with significant experience implementing Microsoft Dynamics CRM / Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement solutions.
  • Strong hands-on architecture and implementation experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales.
  • Strong functional understanding of CRM and sales processes, including Leads, Opportunities, Accounts, Contacts, Activities, Sales Processes, Pipeline Management, and Forecasting.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Power Platform, particularly:
    • Power Apps
    • Model-driven Apps
    • Power Automate
    • Microsoft Dataverse
  • Strong experience designing and implementing enterprise integrations using Azure Integration Services, such as:
  • 10+ years Experience designing integrations between Dynamics 365 and enterprise applications.
  • Strong understanding of Dataverse architecture, security, business units, teams, roles, data modeling, and application design.
  • 5+ years Experience with Dynamics 365 customization and extensibility using C#, .NET, plugins, custom APIs, JavaScript/TypeScript, and related technologies.
  • 5+ years Experience with Azure DevOps and/or GitHub, source control, CI/CD, and Dynamics 365/Power Platform ALM practices.
  • 5+Experience establishing technical architecture, development standards, integration patterns, and governance for enterprise implementations.
  • 5+ Experience with data migration and integration approaches for Dynamics 365.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues across Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Azure integrations, and connected enterprise applications.
