Full Job Description
Minimum qualifications:
  • Associate's degree with a focus in Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience maintaining and troubleshooting semiconductor processing equipment (vacuum systems, wet etch, lithography or chemical mechanical planarization (CMP) tools).
  • Experience in reading blueprints, mechanical drawings, and electrical schematics.
  • Experience troubleshooting equipment by checking software logs, programmable logic controller (PLC) signals, and wiring to find the root cause of a failure.

Preferred qualifications:
  • 2 years of experience with development of manufacturing processes including acceptance testing, startup, and qualification.
  • 1 year of experience creating and maintaining technical documentation (drawings, schematics, standard operating procedure, etc.).
  • 1 year of experience in technical leadership with an ability to search with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to understand hardware roadmaps.
  • Experience supporting emergency response and safety teams.
  • Knowledge of preventative maintenance systems, gas meters and calibration, disaster plans, laser safety, and x-ray equipment inspection and badge programs.
  • Excellent sense of ownership with the ability to be detail-oriented and organized.

In the R&D lab, you design test equipment for prototypes of our machinery and develop the protocols used to scale these tests for the entire global team. With start-up roots and a state-of-the-art compound semiconductor fab in Silicon Valley, Raxium is seeking to build upon its engineering team with an aim to disrupt next-generation display markets.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $99,000-$140,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
