Job Summary:

The Epic Principal Trainer - Resolute HB/PB works collaboratively with operational leaders, Information Systems teams, project teams, and Credentialed Trainers to develop, coordinate, implement, and evaluate Epic training programs related to Resolute Hospital Billing (HB) and Professional Billing (PB) applications. This role is responsible for the development, governance, and continuous improvement of the Epic education program for assigned applications, including curriculum, training environments, instructional standards, and educational initiatives supporting implementations, system upgrades, and workflow optimization. The Principal Trainer serves as the primary educational resource for assigned Epic applications and workflows including charge entry, coding review, claims management, payment posting, denial follow-up, and patient billing workflows. This role applies adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies to develop effective educational programs, provide functional leadership and mentoring to Credentialed Trainers, coordinate Epic credentialing activities, and ensure consistent delivery of standardized Epic education throughout the organization. Other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:

Minimum of four (4) years of healthcare operational experience utilizing Epic applications and demonstrating advanced knowledge of healthcare workflows required. Experience developing educational programs, designing curriculum, coordinating organizational training initiatives, leading educational initiatives, or serving as an Epic education subject matter expert required. Experience in healthcare revenue cycle operations, instructional design, curriculum development, adult education, classroom facilitation, virtual instructor-led training, Epic implementations, system upgrades, workflow optimization, or healthcare systems training preferred. Experience with Resolute Hospital Billing (HB), Resolute Professional Billing (PB), and revenue cycle workflows strongly preferred.

EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required. Master's degree preferred.

SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION:

Strong interpersonal, verbal, written, presentation, facilitation, instructional design, curriculum development, and project coordination skills. Demonstrated ability to develop educational programs, mentor Credentialed Trainers, coordinate multiple educational initiatives, and collaborate effectively with operational leadership, Information Systems teams, and project stakeholders. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, virtual learning technologies, and Epic training environments. Experience with Resolute Hospital Billing (HB), Resolute Professional Billing (PB), and revenue cycle workflows preferred. Experience developing Epic curriculum, managing MST training environments, supporting Epic implementations, upgrades, optimization initiatives, instructional coaching, educational program development, and Super User programs preferred.

LICENSURE DESCRIPTION:
Epic Principal Trainer certification in assigned application(s) required within six (6) months of hire. Epic Resolute Hospital Billing (HB) and/or Resolute Professional Billing (PB) Principal Trainer certification preferred.

Pay is expected to be between: (expressed as hourly) $30.41 - $52.02. Final compensation is based on experience and will be discussed with you by the recruiter during the interview process.
