Environmental Specialist
ICF is seeking an experienced Environmental Specialist to support a Department of War (DOW) contract and team based in Fort Greely, Alaska. The team provides comprehensive environmental management support to the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) including regulatory environmental compliance, environmental impact analysis, planning, air permitting, policy and strategy development, sustainability, conservation, and related technical assistance including support to all agency missions, weapons systems acquisition, development, testing, deployment, and fielding at geographically dispersed locations worldwide.
This position is based in Fort Greely, Alaska with occasional travel required for specific project work throughout the United States and abroad. Currently, the position requires working onsite in a federal government facility Mondays through Thursdays, with situational telework authorized on Fridays. However, the telework authorization is subject to change at any time based on client requirements. Candidate must possess DoD Secret security clearance or have the ability to obtain clearance upon hire.
Responsibilities
The Environmental Specialist will support and execute environmental compliance audits of related to DOW system testing; environmental policies, studies and analysis, including National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA); air emissions modeling and permitting; and facilities planning, design, construction, operation, and sustainment. Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.
The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:
