Position Title: Environmental CAC - Certified Asbestos Consultant

Salary:$93,600-$124,800 per year DOE ($45-$60/hour)

You'll lead asbestos and environmental investigations, work directly with clients across Southern California, and help deliver solutions that protect public health while advancing your career within a stable, growing organization.

This role seeks a qualified individual with extensive experience in environmental assessments, particularly in Southern California. The candidate will engage in hands-on fieldwork, overseeing subcontractors and conducting surveys related to asbestos-containing materials and lead-containing paint. Flexibility and strong communication skills are essential, as the position involves travel and interaction with clients. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to workplace health and safety while managing multiple projects effectively.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform hazardous material sampling and testing, building inspections, hazard evaluations, and review of hazardous materials reports and abatement plans
  • Prepare site assessment, hazardous material reports, proposals, and submittals
  • Conduct and/or assist with environmental site assessments (Phase I and II ESAs)
  • Manage and develop a growing client base
  • Create budgets for projects and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints
  • Support clients and advocate for their needs to facilitate project progression
  • Write technical reports

Requirements:
  • 8+ years of environmental consulting experience in Southern California is required
  • Bachelor's degree in Geology, Civil (Environmental) Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related scientific field is required
  • California Certified Asbestos Consultant (CAC) and Lead Inspector certifications are required
