Job Description

Dewberry is seeking an Entry Level Structural (Bridge) Engineer to work in its Boston, MA office. The successful candidate will be part of a team designing simple and complex bridges (primarily of steel and concrete construction) and a variety of transportation related structures (retaining walls, culverts, sign structures, and other miscellaneous structures) using applicable software. The candidate will also be involved in the development of contract plans, the preparation of engineer's estimates and construction specifications, and performing construction support services. This position offers tremendous potential for professional growth in a great working environment and the opportunity to apply the latest technology to help our clients solve their most challenging problems.

 

Responsibilities
  • Responsible forspecific phases of structural project development, including inspection, analysis, design, development of contract plans, cost estimates, and technical specifications and reports.
  • Additional responsibilities can include shop drawing review, bridge/tunnel inspection team member, inspection report assembly, and building modification designs.
Required Skills & Required Experience
  • BS in Civil Engineering is required
  • 0 - 2 years of experience in Structural Engineering
  • F.E. preferred

The projected range for this position is $84,000 - $86,500 annually. Depending upon other factors, i.e., skills, experience, location, market conditions, the range may vary slightly.
