Job Description:

We are looking for a technical individual with a focus on unified communications and turret systems with windows desktop experience for the ST&S technology trader functions group with the trader voice and ops compliance (TVOC) team.

About the role

The successful candidate will be mid-level with 5+ years' experience and be responsible for providing user support for all trader voice technologies, including unified-communication applications (running on Windows11) and voice recorded media. These recorded media include, but not limited to, dealer boards (turrets), mobile phones, and computer-based telephony platforms and associated retention & legal hold policies.

The platforms include, but not limited to, Cloud9, SIP Private-Wires, Twilio, SBCs, LeapXpert and Mobile phone & Mobile Application Recording, including Microsoft Teams Voice Recording, ASC, and Cohesity Alta SaaS Protection Archiving Solutions. Additionally, the successful candidate should have experience with PC hardware & peripherals, cloud & web technologies including Azure, AWS, Windows 11, Microsoft365, CoPilot and other AI models, SharePoint, Power Automate, PowerBI, APIs, Postman, and scripting.

The candidate will possess the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced, distributed, trading environment.

Key accountabilities

  • Assists in the development and deployment of solutions.
  • Identify network system issues, troubleshoot, and provide solutions.
  • Provide preventative measures to ensure up-time and optimal performance of the environment.
  • Perform complex problem isolation within the Telecommunications Infrastructure and Networks.
  • Creates and contributes on technical documentation.
  • On-call rotation/After Hours support is required.
  • Maintain all required technical, business, compliance and safety training courses.


Essential education, experience and requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience
  • Experienced operational technician with confidence and communication skills to interface with traders for the resolution of a variety of issues.
  • Deliver and maintain high quality "business as usual" support and operations for client-side technologies, voice recording platforms within bp's existing technical infrastructure.
  • Adhere to ST&S Control Standards with particular focus on Business Recording and Communication policies.
  • Maintain an atmosphere focused on adherence to recording standards, ITIL / Support processes and continuous improvement.
  • Follow ITIL processes for incident, problem, change, configuration, and release management and ensure that Major/Minor incidents are resolved within set SLAs.
  • Detailed knowledge of trader voice systems architecture, applications, and operations including client devices, applications, backend infrastructure, networking, recording / monitoring, archiving services and solutions.
  • Experience with Artificial Intelligence under Microsoft's CoPilot models and agents
  • Effective and clear communicator, ability to lead and work well with the team, high self-motivation, and strong delivery focus.
  • Ensure industry's best practices are adhered to by group, team, and suppliers.

How much do we pay (Base)? $87,000 - $100,000 *Note that the pay range listed for this position is a genuinely expected and reasonable estimate of the range of possible base compensation at the time of posting.

This position is eligible for US Benefits - Core. This position offers paid vacation depending on your years of relevant industry experience and will range from 120 - 240 hours of vacation per year for full time employees (60 - 240 hours of vacation per year for part time employees). You will also be eligible for 9 paid holidays per year and 2 personal choice holidays.
