Description As a Junior Systems Administrator, you will provide general data analysis, research, and documentation support across a variety of modeling and analysis efforts. You will work as part of a team under the supervision of senior analysts to support all aspects of analysis such as:
- Conduct/gather, compile, cleanse, validate, and analyze data sets to support modeling and structural analysis activities
- Conduct research of systems, data flows, techniques, technologies, and tools relevant to modeling and analysis activities
- Prepare documentation to include technical reports and slides detailing assumptions, technical approaches, and findings
- Assist in defining data requirements
- Assist in the design, conducts, and evaluation of models and relationships of results to operational benchmarks
Clearance A current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.
Experience Meeting two (2) of the following eleven (11) areas is required:
- STEM Discipline bachelor's degree
- One (1) calendar or academic year experience collecting, cleansing, or analyzing data related to Operations Research, Mathematics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, System Engineering, Management Science, Data Science, Critical Infrastructure Analysis, or a related field
- One (1) calendar or academic year experience conducting directions research of systems, data flow, techniques, technologies, and tools related to Operations Research, Mathematics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, System Engineering, Management Science, Data Science, Critical Infrastructure Analysis, or a related field
- One (1) calendar or academic year experience preparing documentation including technical reports and slides descriptive assumptions, technical approaches, and findings related to Operations Research, Mathematics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, System Engineering, Management Science, Data Science, Critical Infrastructure Analysis, or a related field
- One (1) calendar or academic year experience in the application of M&S to decision analysis problems
- One (1) calendar or academic year experience in the application of M&S to network analysis problems
- One (1) calendar or academic year experience in the application of cost/benefit analysis to decision analysis problems
- One (1) calendar or academic year experience in the application of M&S to the acquisition process and/or sub-elements of the process
- One (1) calendar or academic year experience in communications engineering
- One (1) calendar or academic year experience in SIGINT processing and exploitation
- One (1) calendar or academic year experience in cryptanalytic or cryptologic work in an intelligence community organization.
Required skills:
One (1) year experience using at least three (3) software products or databases that align to the following nine (9) areas:
- Discrete Event Simulation Software (e.g., Arena, Simio, ExtendSim)
- Optimization Software (e.g., GUROBI/CPLEX, GAMS)
- Decision Analysis Software (e.g., DPL, DPLF, Logical Decisions, Decision Lens)
- Network Modeling Software (e.g., Netviz, OPNET/RIVERBED, NetSim, PowerWorld, Thyme, SimPower)
- General Analysis Software (e.g., Microsoft Visual Basic, SAS, SPSS, Netica)
- General Business Analysis (e.g., Oracle, SQL, Access, Cloud)
- Statistical/Math Programming (e.g., Python, R, Stata, Matlab)
- Data Visualization (e.g., Tableau, QlikView, Plotly)
- Classified Intel Processes
Benefits Erias Ventures provides a complete package of wealth, health, and happiness benefits. The expected salary range for this position, depending on education and years of experience is $130,000 - $145,000.
