Full Job Description
Compensation: $100,000-$125,000 + bonus opportunity (OTE of $200,000 - $250,000)
Location: Remote - United States

The job:

As an Enterprise Sales Executive at Buildertrend, you will help construction businesses grow by connecting them with tools that bring clarity and control to their operations. This role is about more than closing deals, it is about understanding how builders run their business and showing them a better way to work. You will shape how high-revenue prospects experience our platform, guiding them from first conversation to confident decision. In your first year, success looks like building a strong pipeline, earning trust with complex clients, and consistently converting opportunities into long-term customers.

What you will do:
  • Manage a portfolio of high-value prospects and define the best path to close each opportunity.
  • Lead tailored product demonstrations that connect Buildertrend's solutions to real business outcomes.
  • Partner with sales leadership to align on strategy, messaging, and priorities.
  • Build and execute short- and long-term plans to meet activity and revenue goals.
  • Collaborate with teammates to uncover opportunities and strengthen overall sales efforts.
  • Work with sales management to refine target lists and outreach strategies.
  • Embrace using AI as a tool to enhance your work, while remaining open to learning, applying critical thinking, and owning the quality of your final work.


Who you are and what you need:
  • 5+ years of successful software sales demonstrated, preferably with companies generating over $5 million in revenue.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time for client meetings, site visits, and annual conferences.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to build trust and guide conversations.
  • Experience developing and executing sales strategies across complex deals.
  • Ability to learn systems, processes, and apply them effectively.
  • Resilience, curiosity, and a drive to improve with each interaction.
