Full Job Description

The Associate Director, Enterprise Operations is a key operational leader who helps translate enterprise priorities into coordinated action. Working closely with the Enterprise Operations Lead, this role advances operational execution, governance, prioritization, and cross-functional alignment across the enterprise. 

The Associate Director serves as a trusted partner across Finance, Talent, IT, Risk, Communications, and Lines of Business, helping ensure priorities are clear, execution is consistent, and enterprise objectives are achieved. The role requires strong judgment, responsiveness, adaptability, and comfort operating in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities. 

Key Responsibilities 

Enterprise Operations Leadership 

  • Advance execution of enterprise operational strategies and priorities. 
  • Track progress against operational initiatives and proactively escalate risks, dependencies, and decisions needed. 
  • Enable consistent implementation of enterprise policies, standards, and operational practices. 
  • Promote data-driven decision-making, operational discipline, and accountability across workstreams. 
  • Serve as a delegate for the Enterprise Operations Lead when needed, representing priorities and supporting follow-through. 

Enterprise Projects and Advisory Support 

  • Lead or support enterprise operational projects that address transformation needs, leadership priorities, operational complexity, and cross-functional business challenges. 
  • Advise business leaders by clarifying needs, structuring complex issues, and recommending practical paths forward. 
  • Identify opportunities to simplify processes, reduce friction, and improve operational effectiveness. 
  • Synthesize large volumes of data and stakeholder input into clear themes, decisions, and actionable insights. 
  • Coordinate cross-functional resources and dependencies to support successful delivery of enterprise initiatives. 
  • Prepare executive-level reporting, decision materials, and presentations for leadership teams and governance committees. 

Stakeholder Coordination 

  • Partner with Finance, Talent, Digital, Communications, Risk, and Lines of Business to align operational priorities and execution plans. 
  • Facilitate leadership meetings, working sessions, and operational committees. 
  • Support communication and change management inputs related to enterprise initiatives. 
  • Build trusted relationships across leadership teams to strengthen collaboration and execution. 

Success Measures 

  • Timely delivery of strategic enterprise initiatives with clear ownership, priorities, and follow-through. 
  • Achievement of operational performance metrics and KPIs. 
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and consistent execution across enterprise workstreams. 
  • Increased efficiency and simplification of operational processes. 
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and timely, accurate executive reporting. 

Qualifications 

Education & Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree and 8 to 10 years of progressive experience in operations, business transformation, consulting, or related function. 
  • Experience leading large-scale complex projects and initiatives and working in cross-functional teams. 
  • Experience working with senior leaders and executive stakeholders in a fast-paced, enterprise environment. 

Skills and Capabilities 

  • Strong strategic thinking and operational execution capabilities. 
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, executive presence, and stakeholder management abilities. 
  • Ability to manage ambiguity, structure complex problems, and translate inputs into actionable recommendations.

The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.

Compensation Range: $126,500 - $223,900

Individuals selected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
