Capgemini Government Solutions (CGS) LLC is seeking an Enterprise Infrastructure and Operations Solution Architect experienced with applying the Service Integration and Management (SIAM) framework to modernize a large Department level infrastructure estate. The successful candidate will work with technical leadership, business owners, technical teams, vendors, and service providers to establish a unified, transparent, and outcome-driven service integration model across hybrid cloud, on-premises infrastructure, data center operations, and business office integration.

The Enterprise Infrastructure and Operations Solution Architect provides enterprise-level architecture and integration leadership across impacting multiple agencies accessing and relying on this Department Infrastructure and its Operations, connecting hybrid FinOps, infrastructure optimization, data center and cloud engineering, data center operations, Service Delivery Integration (SDI), and Business Office Integration into a cohesive operating model. The Architect translates financial, technical, operational, capacity, asset, service-performance, and business data into actionable architectural decisions, modernization priorities, and continuous improvement initiatives that improve resilience, scalability, availability, cost efficiency, security, and service outcomes.

Job Responsibilities:

As the Enterprise Infrastructure and Operations Solution Architect, you will:

• Lead enterprise architecture and modernization efforts across cloud, data center, and infrastructure operations.
• Develop and implement hybrid cloud optimization and FinOps strategies to improve performance, resilience, and cost efficiency.
• Integrate engineering, operations, and service management (SIAM/ITIL) into a unified operating model.
• Oversee architecture decisions related to capacity planning, automation, lifecycle management, disaster recovery, security, and compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement through data-driven insights, performance metrics, and governance practices.
• Partner with infrastructure teams, service providers, cybersecurity stakeholders, and executive leadership to deliver mission outcomes.
• Provide executive-level recommendations, roadmaps, and modernization strategies.

Required Qualifications

• USA Citizenship is required.
• Ability to obtain a Government Security Clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related technical discipline or additional experience in lieu of degree
• 12+ years of experience in enterprise infrastructure architecture, engineering, cloud, data center operations, or service integration.
• Experience designing and modernizing hybrid cloud and on-premises environments.
• Strong knowledge of ITIL/SIAM, infrastructure operations, cloud technologies, and data center environments.
• Experience with FinOps, automation, observability, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and service management practices.
• Understanding of cybersecurity, compliance, resiliency, and disaster recovery requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate technical strategies and recommendations to executive and technical audiences.
• ITIL 4 Certification.

Desired Qualifications

• Master's degree in a related discipline.
• Experience supporting large federal agencies.
• Knowledge of TOGAF, FEAF, or similar enterprise architecture frameworks.
• Certifications such as TOGAF, FinOps, SIAM, ServiceNow, cloud architecture, or data center certifications.

At Capgemini, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The base salary range for the tagged location is $155K-$195K.

This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.
