Salary Range: $75,000 CAD; $100,000 OTE (CAD)

About the Role

The Enterprise Development Representative is responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities within the enterprise segment, specifically targeting companies with 1,000+ employees. This role involves strategic prospecting, lead generation, and initial engagement to build a robust sales pipeline and support the Strategic Account Executives in closing deals.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Conduct in-depth research to identify and target potential enterprise clients that align with Bonterra's ideal customer profile.
  • Utilize various prospecting tools and techniques (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator, cold calling, email campaigns) to generate new leads.
  • Develop and execute personalized outreach strategies to engage senior-level decision-makers and C-suite executives within target organizations.
  • Qualify leads based on established criteria, including problem, authority, , ICP-alignment, need, and timeline (PAINT)
  • Articulate Bonterra's value proposition and solutions effectively to prospects, showcasing how our platform addresses their specific business challenges.
  • Schedule and confirm discovery meetings and product demonstrations for Enterprise Account Executives.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all prospecting activities and customer interactions in the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Collaborate closely with Enterprise Account Executives, marketing, and sales leadership to optimize lead generation efforts and sales strategies.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and Bonterra's product updates to effectively communicate our offerings.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly quotas for qualified meetings and pipeline generation.


Job Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in business development, sales development, or lead generation, preferably within a SaaS or technology company.
  • Proven track record of successfully generating qualified leads and exceeding quotas in an enterprise sales environment
  • Strong understanding of the enterprise sales cycle and complex organizational structures.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and sales engagement platforms (e.g., Salesloft, Outreach).
  • Highly motivated, results-oriented, and a self-starter with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills to identify key decision-makers and account intelligence.
  • Experience with international markets and global HR/payroll solutions is a plus.
