Position OverviewThe
Enterprise Architecture Manager leads enterprise wide technology strategy and oversees
enterprise and solution architecture teams. This role drives
major technology transformation initiatives, defines
enterprise architecture standards, and ensures the
design, implementation, and lifecycle management of scalable, secure, and resilient technology solutions aligned with business goals.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage enterprise architecture and solution architecture teams
- Define and maintain enterprise architecture roadmaps, standards, and governance
- Provide technical leadership across applications, data, infrastructure, integration, and cloud
- Partner with business and technology stakeholders to design scalable, secure, and resilient solutions
- Establish and enforce architecture standards, best practices, and policies
- Ensure alignment with regulatory and security frameworks (e.g., NIST, CIS, FFIEC, ISO, COBIT)
- Develop and manage SLAs, KPIs, and performance metrics
- Lead vendor, VAR, and contractor management, including evaluations and contract negotiations
- Drive technology modernization, innovation, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Research and assess emerging technologies and industry trends
- Design short term and long term technology strategies
- Support disaster recovery and business continuity architecture
- Mentor engineers on architecture design, documentation, diagrams, and delivery
- Benchmark and recommend improvements across the enterprise technology ecosystem
Required Qualifications- 10+ years leading enterprise technology teams (cloud, infrastructure, systems, software, data)
- 5+ years as an Enterprise Architect, Lead Architect, or similar role
- Proven experience designing enterprise scale, secure solutions in on prem and cloud environments
- Experience developing and implementing disaster recovery programs
- Strong background in IT architecture analysis, modeling, documentation, and integration
- Experience in financial services or regulated environments
- Hands on experience with architecture frameworks and methodologies
- Strong vendor management and technology evaluation experience
Preferred Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering
- Experience with security and control frameworks: NIST, CIS, FFIEC, ISO, COBIT
- Proven success balancing strategic leadership with hands on execution
