Responsibilities

  • Define and enforce enterprise architecture standards and principles for applications and infrastructure.
  • Lead the selection of cloud and on-premises platforms and products for enterprise programs.
  • Ensure application and system architecture aligns with enterprise needs, especially for cloud and integration functions.
  • Guide teams in evaluating technology solutions and planning multi-year roadmaps.
  • Identify and recommend technology solutions aligning with strategic goals, collaborating with executive leaders.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert for various stakeholders including third-party vendors and implementation partners.
  • Facilitate architecture optimization during the transition to a future state architecture.

Client: Wealth & Investment Management

Position: Enterprise Architect

Compensation: Camas = $170K - $200K + Bonus

Location: First 90 days on site and then 1 day a week WFH

Work Authorization: USC or GC ONLY

Education: Bachelor's degree in information systems or related technical field, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Experience:
  • 10+ year's combination of solution / technical / business architecture roles with 7+ years leading, developing and mentoring
  • 5+ years of architecture experience at a large wealth management or asset management firm
  • Experience in CRD or any other Order Management System (OMS) Implementation / Customization for example Bloomberg AIM, BlackRock Aladdin, SS&C Advent (Moxy), Enfusion by Clearwater in a wealth management context dealing with UMA portfolio structures.
  • Experience with application, data, integration, security, and technology platform architectures and implementation patterns
  • Experience with Sylvan strongly preferred - This tool usually handles the downstream data and complex accounting processes.
  • Experience with Azure data and integration services preferred
  • Experience implementing multiple complex enterprise level changes simultaneously, including how to guide and measure adoption of best practices


Responsibilities:
  • Define and oversee the adherence to enterprise architecture principles and standards across portions of applications, infrastructure, and information security
  • Define the architecture and lead the selection of important platforms (both cloud and on-premises), products, and vendors to be utilized for programs across the enterprise
  • Ensure the architecture of applications and systems (especially cloud-based data and integration architecture, with CRD as a foundation, for Front and Middle Office functions & with SS&C GWP & Sylvan as a foundation, for Back office functions) is consistent with enterprise needs, and ascertain how application solutions are used to meet those enterprise needs
  • Lead technology and business teams to evaluate current technology solutions and plan, design, and coordinate multi-year roadmaps for all applications and support activities
  • Survey the technology landscape to identify systems and solutions that align with firm strategy while collaborating with executive leadership to recommend, implement and maintain appropriate technology solutions
  • Function as SME to Technology Business Services, Infrastructure and Operations, Information Security, 3rd party vendors, and implementation partners
  • Facilitate optimization of current state architecture during the transformation to future state architecture
