Full Job Description
Senior Enterprise Architect

The Sr. Enterprise Architect will work directly with the Director of Enterprise Architecture and the Enterprise Architecture team in performing the following duties:

Lead development and execution of enterprise architecture strategy and governance within the enterprise
Establish enterprise architecture principles, standards, policies, and best practices.
Guide business units and technology teams towards alignment with architectural standards and best practices
Lead architecture governance through the Architecture Review Board (ARB) and EA led meetings
Develop executive-level architecture briefings, investment recommendations, and strategic planning documentation.
Mentor enterprise, solution, and technical architects.
Evaluate enterprise technology investments and recommend strategic direction.
Maintain information system artifacts and records within the enterprise architecture repository
Perform management and configuration of the enterprise architecture repository system
Develop data diagrams and network flow diagrams for technology systems
Capture data architecture and integration architecture for data center and cloud solutions
Manage internal document repository and SharePoint for organization-wide information sharing
Create reports and prepare documentation in support of executive briefings

Candidate Capability and Experience Requirements

Degree in Computer Science/Information Management Systems, or equivalent senior level technical experience.
TOGAF Certified (Highly Preferred)
10+ years performing Enterprise Architecture activities.
10+ years developing business, application, and technology architecture.
5+ years working with Microsoft Visio.
Demonstrated experience with the ArchiMate modeling language.
Demonstrated ability utilizing Microsoft Visio by developing architecture models
Demonstrated experience performing as a technical leader on enterprise-level information technology projects.
Demonstrated experiencing developing, defining, and establishing Enterprise Architecture best practices
Experience developing documentation, processes, and guidance documents
Experience with the systems development life cycle, and program and project management.
Experience leading enterprise-level deployments cloud and cross-cloud solutions as well as on-prem infrastructure and virtual environments.
Minimum 10 years of applicable experience in major functional areas and understanding of Federal and private sector technology programs, practices, procedures, and related laws.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with elected officials, senior staff, information systems professionals, and non-technical users.
