About the Job:
The Enterprise Applications Manager is responsible for the leadership, governance, support, and continuous improvement of the organization's core finance and servicing applications, with primary responsibility for the Odessa lease and loan management platform and SAP Simple Finance (sFIN).
This role leads a team of employees, contractors, and Application Management Services (AMS) partners to ensure the reliable operation, compliance, and ongoing enhancement of systems supporting the full equipment finance lifecycle, including origination, contract management, billing, collections, asset management, customer servicing, accounting, treasury, and financial reporting.
The position serves as a strategic partner to business leaders across Finance, Accounting, Treasury, Operations, Credit, Collections, Customer Service and Remarketing to ensure technology solutions support business objectives, regulatory requirements, internal controls, and operational excellence.
What You'll Do: Enterprise Application Leadership & Service Delivery- Provide overall leadership, support, governance, and strategic direction for the Odessa and SAP Simple Finance (sFIN) platforms.
- Ensure stability, availability, performance, and continuous improvement of business-critical applications supporting Finance, Accounting, Treasury, Operations, and other business functions.
- Oversee day-to-day production support activities, including incident management, service requests, problem resolution, and application enhancements.
- Establish and monitor service performance metrics, support KPIs, and user satisfaction measures to ensure effective service delivery.
- Partner with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and optimization of application capabilities.
- Lead business requirements gathering and process discovery sessions with stakeholders to identify functional, technical, and operational needs, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and enterprise application capabilities.
- Translate and communicate business requirements to ERP vendors and implementation partners, ensuring clear understanding, accurate solution design, and successful delivery of system enhancements, integrations, and process improvements.
Team Leadership, Vendor Management & Operational Excellence- Lead, develop, and mentor a team of employees, contractors, and third-party resources supporting enterprise applications.
- Manage AMS partners and software vendors, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, service level agreements (SLAs), and operational expectations.
- Provide guidance and leadership to team members related to production support, project delivery, application enhancements, and technology roadmaps.
- Drive accountability, continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and service excellence across internal teams and external partners.
- Participate in workforce planning, recruiting, onboarding, performance management, and professional development activities.
Governance, Risk Management & Audit Compliance- Establish and maintain application governance standards, support processes, documentation standards, and operational controls.
- Ensure system configurations, technical documentation, support procedures, and knowledge repositories are maintained, current, and stored within secure centralized repositories.
- Lead and coordinate internal and external audit activities related to supported applications, including financial, operational, compliance, JSOX, and regulatory audits.
- Partner with Internal Audit, Finance, Compliance, Risk Management, and external auditors to provide audit evidence, support control testing, address audit findings, and implement corrective action plans.
- Ensure appropriate controls are maintained for user access, segregation of duties, change management, data integrity, system security, and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications You'll Need:Must Have:- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience supporting enterprise applications, ERP platforms, or financial systems.
- 5+ years of experience supporting equipment finance, leasing, commercial finance, captive finance, or financial services organizations preferred.
- 3+ years of leadership experience managing employees, contractors, vendors, or outsourced support teams.
- Experience supporting lease and loan servicing platforms, financial systems, or ERP solutions in a production environment.
- Experience managing AMS partners, vendor relationships, service delivery expectations, and SLA performance.
- Strong understanding of financial operations, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Credit, Funding, Billing, Collections, Remarketing and Financial Reporting.
- Experience supporting internal and external audits, SOX compliance, IT controls, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
Great to Have:- Experience supporting the Odessa platform within an equipment finance, leasing, or captive finance organization.
- Experience supporting SAP Simple Finance (sFIN), SAP ECC Finance, or related SAP Financial modules.
- Knowledge of equipment finance and leasing business processes, including contract origination, funding, servicing, billing, collections, asset management, and end-of-term activities.
- Experience supporting integrations between servicing platforms, ERP systems, treasury solutions, payment platforms, CRM applications, tax engines, and reporting tools.
- Experience leading distributed teams, offshore resources, and AMS providers.
- Familiarity with SOX controls, financial reporting controls, and regulatory compliance requirements within financial services organizations.
- Experience supporting large-scale system implementations, cloud transformations, or platform modernization initiatives.
