Enterprise Account Manager - Compute

This role has been designated as 'Remote/Teleworker', which means you will primarily work from home.

Job Description:

Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues and is regarded as a subject matter expert. Frequently contributes to the development of new ideas and methods. Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. Leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives. Acts as an expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies. Frequently represents the organization to external customers/clients. Exercises significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives. May provide mentoring and guidance to lower level employees.

In a typical day as an Enterprise Compute Sales Specialist, you would
  • Build strategic partnerships that align with internal stakeholders and external partner ecosystem to deliver meaningful business outcomes to Customers
  • Acts as a trusted compute solutions consultant for the slated accounts/region
  • Create new, and develop existing, senior level customer relationships to be viewed as a trusted customer advisor. Maintain high-level of customer loyalty that builds trust and integrity, as indicated in company conducted surveys and reports
  • develop and execute against comprehensive account / territory plan that delivers revenue and market share growth. With the ability to leverage CRM and digital selling tools, to build new pipeline
  • Balance strategic and tactical pursuits to optimize coverage and develop a predictable revenue stream.
  • Use a consultative approach to understand client's critical business priorities, transformation objective and IT challenges
  • Articulate compelling value proposition(s) around HPE Compute products and services for different audiences and stakeholder levels - C-level executives, business development executives, IT leaders, Architects
  • Articulate compelling value proposition(s) around HPE Edge to Cloud strategy for different audiences and stakeholders in customer and partner relationships
  • Ability to build business cases and value propositions that link business and financial benefits that clearly articulate the ROI & TCO advantage of HPE offering(s) that enable customers to deliver business outcomes.
  • Focus on driving value for the client, while maximizing competitive share, revenue, and margin
  • Responsible for achieving sales goals

  • Effectively leads, evangelizes, and helps to coordinate Compute marketing campaigns (digital/new techniques) to ensure successful launches and maintenance of campaign momentum, in alignment with the account/territory strategy
  • Experienced in the IT industry with knowledge in Compute solutions and knowledge of competitive landscape
  • Acts as a trusted compute solutions consultant for the slated accounts/region
  • Extensive customer, channel and partner network in British Columbia
  • Beneficial to have vertical expertise in the areas of British Columbia Provincial and Broader Public Sector Government, Health Care, Education and Commercial segments
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation
  • 7+ years of relevant technology and services sales
  • Holding a University or Bachelor's degree in business administration or computer science or equivalent

"The expected salary/wage range for this position is provided below. Actual offer may vary from this range based upon geographic location, work experience, education/training, and/or skill level.
- Canada: Annual Salary CAD 185,000 - 343,000
This range reflects the minimum to maximum combined base and target-level sales compensation that would be paid if the hire performs at 100% of their sales plan. Of that on-target pay amount, the mix of base salary and target-level sales compensation is 60%/40%.
