Experience needed for this role
CloudPay, a leading provider of global payroll and payment solutions, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Enterprise Account Executive to drive new business growth within large, complex organizations across the US. This role is responsible for identifying, developing, and closing strategic deals with enterprises seeking to transform their payroll operations.
Main responsibilities

  • New Business Development: Proactively identify and target enterprise-level companies in the UK market that align with CloudPay's ideal customer profile.
  • Strategic Account Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive account plans to penetrate key accounts, understand their business challenges, and position CloudPay's solutions effectively.
  • Complex Sales Cycle Management: Navigate long and intricate sales cycles, engaging with multiple stakeholders across various departments (HR, Finance, IT, Procurement) within client organizations.
  • Solution Selling: Articulate the value proposition of CloudPay's global payroll and payment platform, demonstrating how our solutions address specific client needs and deliver significant ROI.
  • Proposal Development & Negotiation: Create compelling proposals, presentations, and financial models, and skillfully negotiate contracts to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain a robust sales pipeline, accurately forecast sales, and consistently achieve or exceed assigned sales quotas.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Solution Consultants, Professional Services, and Marketing teams to ensure a seamless sales process and successful client onboarding.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify new opportunities and challenges.
  • CRM Management: Utilize CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) to track all sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline progress.
Experience needed for this role
  • Experience: Proven progressive experience of successful enterprise-level software sales experience, preferably within the HR Technology, Payroll, FinTech, or SaaS space.
  • Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of global payroll processes, HR systems, and financial operations is highly desirable.
  • Sales Acumen: Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales targets and managing complex, multi-million-pound deals.
  • Consultative Selling Skills: Ability to conduct in-depth discovery calls, identify client pain points, and position solutions as strategic business enablers.
  • Communication & Presentation: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical and business concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a proven ability to manage procurement processes and overcome objections.
  • Strategic Thinker: Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans, targeting key decision-makers and influencers.
  • Self-Motivated & Results-Oriented: Highly driven, autonomous, and able to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
