Full Job Description
ENT Physician- Greater Bay Area, CA

Job Description:

Location: Atherton & Sonoma, CA (Serving the Greater Bay Area)

Schedule: Full-Time | 4-Day Work Week (3 clinic, 1 OR day)

Hours: High-Efficiency Flow | 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM | No Hospital Call

About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and efficient Otolaryngologist to join California Sinus Centers, a premier private practice serving a vast territory from Sacramento to Santa Cruz. Led by Rhinology-trained surgeons Dr. Fong and Dr. Vaughan, our group is expanding to meet high patient demand in our Atherton and Sonoma locations.

This role offers the rare opportunity to step into a high-volume, well-oiled machine where administrative burdens are handled for you. Whether you are a new graduate looking for a massive referral network or a specialist looking to establish a niche in Laryngology or Head & Neck surgery, our practice provides the volume, surgical capacity, and professional connections to ensure a thriving career in the Bay Area.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited school of medicine.
  • Certification: Board Certified in Otolaryngology, or Board Eligible.
  • Experience: New graduates are welcome! We offer significant mentorship and can introduce you to hundreds of referring providers across the region.
  • Licensure: Active California Medical License (or eligibility to obtain one).
  • Preferred Skills: While we are seeking a General ENT, we are open to accommodating subspecialty expertise. A candidate interested in Laryngology or Head & Neck Surgery would find a significant underserved market in our Sonoma location.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Comprehensive ENT Care: Provide full-scope care for patients of all ages, including pediatric cases (tubes, tonsils, adenoids) and general head & neck, sinus, and ear pathology.
  • Surgical Management: Access to ample block time at the Waverly Surgery Center (4 ORs) in Palo Alto and El Camino Community Hospital (Main OR and Surgery Center).
  • Support Suite: Work with a dedicated team including MAs and Scribes who handle prescription prep, inbox tasks, and prior authorizations.
  • Call Coverage: No Hospital Call. Physicians cover after-hours calls for their own patients only. Due to high surgical outcomes, calls are rare and typically involve minor pharmacy requests. ENT emergencies are diverted to Stanford or UCSF.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
  • Comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Retirement plan options.
  • Generous paid time off and continuing medical education (CME) allowance.
  • Malpractice insurance coverage.

The BASS Medical Group is a physician and patient centric multispecialty group whose purpose is to maintain physician autonomy and financial security within the construct of a supportive medical group. Beginning with approximately 50 doctors in the Walnut Creek area in 2014, we have grown to 465+ providers across 42 specialties in our 128 locations throughout Northern California, and look forward to expanding our reach in the future.

The salary range for this role is $300,000-$325,000 in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits. The base pay offered will be determined based on relevant factors such as experience, education, and geographic location.
