Join our innovative engineering team in Orlando, FL as a System Integration and Test Engineer supporting advanced sensor development for space applications. You will play a pivotal role in the integration, testing, and validation of electrical, optical, infrared (IR), and electro-optical systems, directly contributing to mission-critical solutions. [Responsibilities]
- Plan, implement, and execute integration and testing of in-house developed and COTS/GOTS components and subsystems
- Synthesize contractual requirements into robust system test solutions while managing technical, schedule, and cost constraints
- Establish functional and technical specifications, resolve hardware/software interface challenges, and ensure seamless system integration
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules for complete systems and subsystems
- Coordinate testing activities across multiple programs and organizations to drive project success
- Analyze test results, prepare detailed evaluation reports, and verify system performance
- Document and report discrepancies, perform regression testing, and validate fixes across software, components, and systems
[Required Skills and Experience]
- Minimum 5 years' experience in electro-optical, optical, or infrared (IR) design and development
- At least 6 years' experience in design, integration, test, and requirements verification/validation for electro-optical designs
- Proven track record in developing advanced test plans, procedures, schedules, and reports for key stakeholder reviews
- Strong background in physics, electronic testing, and test plan development/execution
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline
