We are looking for an Engineering Manager. This position will be based in Peachtree Corners GA. In this position, you will lead a team of engineers with different engineering fields, overseeing project planning, implementing projects, while managing resources, budgets and personnel. You will be directly involved in bringing emerging technologies to realities.
You'll make a difference with: - Developing detailed plans for validating new design and product concepts and owning the team implement the plans.
- Deeply engaging in team day-to-day technical activities, ensuring technical accuracy of team's work and facilitating problem solving for the team.
- Advancing technologies from early concepts to development handoff and operational readiness.
- Actively following industry trends and participating in related industry working groups/committees.
- Proposing new projects and program proposals.
- Assisting in deploying new product introduction in manufacturing for mass production as necessary. Providing technical support to other engineering teams or operation teams as needed.
- Leading personnel activities, such performance evaluations and hiring.
- Working closely with other groups and managers to ensure favorable business outcomes and efficiencies.
You'll win us over by having the following qualifications: Basic Qualifications: - An undergraduate or graduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience with the following:
- Hands-on experience in product development or advanced engineering.
- Deep knowledge in the field of firmware, software and electronics hardware.
- Experience in supervising teams of technical individuals.
- Proven success in new product development or moving technologies from concept to market.
- Demonstrated ability to apply engineering principles and analytical rigor to solve engineering problems.
- Experience working in a multi-functional environment including product management, sales, production, customer support, and other teams.
- Desire and ability to work mostly onsite.
- Ability to travel up to 10% as needed.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications: - Advanced degree (Masters/ PhD)
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to communicate information effectively.
- Ability to convey ideas and concepts to a wide range of audiences including functions outside engineering.
- Ability to lead teams in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
- Familiarities to various UL standards and processes to obtain UL certification.
- Strong analytic, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong quality orientation and customer focus.
- Ability to meet with customers, understand their needs, and propose/develop solutions that meet their needs.

The pay range for this position is 122,951 - 210,773 annually with a target incentive of 15% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
