FBS is looking for an Engineering Manager to lead and support our Data Solutions team. In this role, you'll be responsible for helping engineers do their best work - removing blockers, coaching for growth, and making sure the teams are healthy, staffed, and delivering quality solutions with confidence. You'll partner with our Sales, Customer Success, Customer Onboarding and Engineering staff to ensure the teams deliver work that creates reliable value for our customers.
What you'll do:
- Manage the performance, professional development, and retention of software developers
- Own team-level outcomes including delivery quality, system stability, and production performance
- Remove day-to-day blockers, whether technical, process-related, or interpersonal
- Partner with stakeholders on alignment to deliver the solutions our customers expect
- Monitor workload distribution, staffing needs, and overall delivery health
- Foster strong team morale and a collaborative, supportive engineering culture
What you'll need to be successful:
- 5+ years experience in software engineering
- 2+ years of experience as an Engineering Manager with solutions-and-outcomes objectives
- Ability to balance long-term, strategic goals with short-term goals
- Excellent communication skills and a history of collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
Salary Range: $150,000 - $170,000
