[Responsibilities]
- Execute precise strain gage installations on aircraft and facility components made from metals and composites
- Prepare surfaces, layout, align, and bond strain gages using industry-standard techniques
- Apply Wheatstone bridge wiring methodology to measure torque, axial load, bending, and shear strain
- Document instrumentation wiring and measurement data accurately to support engineering analysis
- Collaborate with engineers and technicians to support ongoing flight and ground test operations
- Maintain flexibility to work overtime, extended, and modified shifts as required for project timelines
[Required Skills and Experience]
- High school diploma (or equivalent) plus 2 years of engineering college or technical school
- Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in strain gage installation and instrumentation wiring
- Proficient in surface preparation, strain gage measurement, and Micro-Measurements techniques
- Demonstrated ability to work with a variety of metals and composite materials
- Strong documentation and communication skills
