Work you'll doAs a Engineering Delivery Manager II on the GPS HST Technology team, you will be responsible for:
- Manage the lifecycle of Medicaid eligibility systems (design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance)
- Oversee application performance, reliability, and scalability
- Coordinate system upgrades, patches, and enhancement
- Ensure integration with related systems (MMIS, HIX/Marketplace etc.)
- Lead and manage projects related to eligibility system transformations and modernization
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets
- Coordinate with vendors, system integrators, and internal IT teams
- Monitor project risks, issues, and dependencies Business & Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, policy teams, and operations to gather requirements
- Translate policy and regulatory requirements into system functionality
- Act as the liaison between technical teams and business users
- Manage and mentor application developers, analysts, and support staff
- Promote Agile/DevOps practices for continuous delivery and improvement
- Ensure effective workload planning and team performance
- Ensure accurate eligibility determination logic and data integrity
- Oversee reporting and analytics related to enrollment, eligibility, and compliance
- Support data exchanges (e.g., Federal Data Services Hub, state systems)
- Ensure timely resolution of production issues and incidents
- Establish SLAs and monitor service performance
- Drive continuous improvement and process optimization

QualificationsRequired:- 10+ years of consulting and/or industry experience
- Experience with state public assistance systems supporting eligibility and benefits determination and case management
- Experience supporting state clients in one or more of the following areas: eligibility determination, benefits calculation, benefits issuance, or information management
- Bachelor's degree
- Ability to travel 0-20%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
Preferred:- Experience managing small to mid-size engagements or workstreams and leading multiple team members
- Experience mentoring or leading multiple team members
