About the JobEngineering & Commercial Lead (Level Based on Experience)The Role:This is a
hybrid engineering + commercial role, focused on taking complex technical solutions and helping bring them into real industrial deployment.
Depending on experience (hence the broad salary range), this role can be structured as: - A senior, highly independent position, or
- A growth role for an emerging engineer looking to build into a commercial-facing technical leader.
You will be involved across the full lifecycle:- Early customer discussions.
- Feasibility and testing.
- System design and configuration.
- Deployment, commissioning, and support.
What You'll Be Doing:- Work directly with customers to understand materials, processes, and requirements.
- Translate technical challenges into structured solutions and system concepts.
- Support feasibility testing, data interpretation, and process development.
- Contribute to system design, including application-specific configurations.
- Participate in installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of industrial systems.
- Bridge communication between engineering, operations, and commercial efforts.
What We're Looking For: We are intentionally open to a range of candidates, including:
Engineering-Led Commercial Operators:- Experience in technical sales or customer-facing engineering roles.
- Comfortable owning discussions and translating technical solutions into commercial outcomes.
Microwave / RF / High-Power System Specialists:- Experience with microwave, RF, or high-energy process systems.
- Familiarity with topics such as:
- Power transfer / reflection.
- Thermal processing or dielectric heating.
- Industrial-scale equipment design or operation.
Early-Career Engineers (High Potential):- Background in engineering (mechanical, electrical, physics, or similar).
- Exposure to thermal systems, process engineering, RF, or industrial equipment.
- Strong interest in learning and building a career in a specialized, emerging field.
Core Capabilities (Valued Across All Levels):- Experience working with industrial systems or equipment (design, testing, or field work).
- Ability to read drawings, schematics, and work across disciplines.
- Strong problem-solving mindset with comfort operating in ambiguity.
- Interest in hands-on work, including system setup, testing, or commissioning.
- Clear communicator across both technical and non-technical audiences.
