Full Job Description
Entellus, Inc. is seeking an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) to join our Land Development team in Austin, Texas.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing production for a variety of project types including residential subdivisions, multi-family, commercial, and industrial sites. The successful candidate is accountable for project performance, ensuring quality control on deliverables, and maintaining quality professional service. This role also provides direction and guidance to EITs and technicians assigned to the project manager's team. This individual will report to the Land Development Discipline Leader.

Requirements

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist with preparation of scope, schedules, and budgets.
  • Manage and mentor the project team.
  • Run lead on preparation of plans, reports, and submittals.
  • Maintain quality control on all project deliverables.
  • Provide and teach engineering best practices to younger staff.
  • Participate in networking events to represent the firm and assist in developing new business.

Skills/Qualifications
  • 3-6+ years of experience working on land development projects
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Must be able to use Microsoft Office 365, including familiarity with Teams.
  • Must be able to interact and effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, with team and clients.
  • Strong land development, grading, and drainage technical skills and understanding.
  • Ability to travel as needed for meetings and on-site inspections.
  • Detail-oriented, professional attitude, team player, and self-starter.
  • Proven track record of successful design execution, task management, and permitting.
  • Must be able to work independently/remotely while still meeting schedule and budget.
  • Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours, if required.

Salary Range is $72,000 - $105,000 (+ Paid for every hour worked, Bonus, and 401 (k) profit share).
