What you'll be doing...

As an Engineer III Regulatory/Real Estate (Real Estate Specialist), you will join a dynamic team responsible for modifications of existing sites in the NorPac market. The role focuses on managing and driving site acquisition vendors to deliver completed Real Estate projects to Construction. You will interact with local counterparts (in Construction, Transport and Legal) and national counterparts (in Headquarters) to understand requirements, seek exceptions and collaborate to find creative solutions that remain in compliance with business and regulatory standards. Your day to day tasks include, but are not limited to:
  • Project management and milestone tracking to ensure you meet or exceed forecasted timelines.
  • Analyzing, interpreting zoning/telecommunications ordinances and code.
  • Monitoring and enforcing shot clock.
  • Performing lease due diligence.
  • Representing Verizon in communications with landlords and municipalities.
  • Escalating issues to management with recommendations included.
  • Conducting site visits as needed.
  • Financial management of your assigned projects.


What we're looking for...

You are well versed in telecommunications and thrive under tight deadlines. You are a team player and can work collaboratively across teams to achieve organizational and program goals.

You'll need to have:
  • Bachelor's degree or two or more years of work experience.
  • Three or more years or relevant work experience.
  • Willingness to travel up to approximately 25% of the time.
  • Valid driver's license.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:
  • A degree in Real Estate or related discipline.
  • Experience in working with attorneys in a contract and legal capacity or paralegal training.
  • Experience reviewing RF data sheets and construction drawings.
  • Knowledge of zoning procedures and Section 6409 of the Spectrum Act.
  • Excellent negotiation skills, interpersonal skills, oral/written communications skills, and organizational skills.
  • FUZE SPM and PO module expertise
  • Google Suite experience.

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes working from home and a minimum of three days per week in the office, which will be set by your manager. Employees are responsible for maintaining compliance with hybrid work policies.

The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.

The annual salary range for the location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $82,000.00 - $134,000.00.
