Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or related field; equivalent experience may substitute for education.
• Two or more years of engineering experience with a bachelor's degree; relevant internships may count toward experience.
• Understanding of engineering concepts, principles, codes, and theory with a broad application.
• Ability to quickly grasp and accurately apply new concepts in a dynamic setting.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills; capable of working independently and collaboratively.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop digital systems primarily targeting AMD/Xilinx FPGAs with some analog interfaces.
• Create designs involving microprocessors and vector processors using high-level design tools.
• Work on System on Chip projects and embedded firmware development as needed.
• Utilize tools like Xilinx/AMD ISE, Vivado, Matlab, Simulink, and System Generator for design work.
• Perform JTAG boundary scan testing and debugging as part of the design process.
• Maintain documentation for version control, production release, and training support.
• Provide necessary field support for deployed systems.
