Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in the solar energy field, particularly with systems 1000 VAC and below.
• Proficient in electrical troubleshooting for both A/C and D/C systems.
• Strong communication skills for on-site interaction with clients.
• Ability to interpret engineered drawings and understand engineering standards.
• Competent in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, Access, and Word.
• Willingness to travel and respond to urgent maintenance requests.
• Independent working capability without direct supervision.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections and manage repairs of solar facilities.
• Troubleshoot and perform upgrades on existing systems.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety work practices at all times.
• Oversee the quality of work being performed by third-party electrical contractors.
• Prepare change orders and cost estimates for additional site work.
• Document requests and manage material requisitioning and inventory control.
• Interface with the Construction Manager during system build-outs and decommissioning.
